Good pressure from the outset with Cosmo Piedra, Big Sarara Roof and Hiro Shige Wave taking up the running over M T Hibiki and Ecoro Jade. ECORO JADE (10) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten one length after being in contention on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. HIRO SHIGE WAVE (8) drew wide last time and was safely held when seventh over this track and trip. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. BLACK PERSIMMON (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fifth over 1400m at this track. Will push forward and is among the chances. BIG SARARA ROOF (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a nose over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
