Not seeing a great deal of early speed. JUSTIN LONG (8) last appeared five weeks ago over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt when he finished sixth. This is his first run for the Takemi Munakata stable. Key runner who will be tough to beat. I AM IBUSHIGIN (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 2 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of another big run. FAIR CLOUD (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the corner. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. DEEP OCEAN (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 26 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
