Plenty of pace from Ten Fresh, Love Me Monica and Pandeiro primarily. TEN FRESH (2) has been safely held at her last couple of runs, the latest when 13th over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Forgive the last couple in tougher company. Hard to beat this time. VIP AKUA (11) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at Morioka Dirt two starts back then landed the prize by 4 lengths as public elect last time out over 850m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. KITANO SERENADE (9) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1400m at this track, getting home by half a length. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. TRAIL RIDGE (7) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 3 lengths at this track over 1300m. Another bold showing expected.
