Expecting a bold showing. GRACE THE CROWN (9) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1800m at Niigata Dirt, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has the class to return to the winner's list. SMART SPEAR (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Chukyo, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
