Ended last campaign with three straight wins, the latest over this track and trip, and boasts an outstanding record here with four victories from five attempts at the journey. Hard to knock and will take beating. SAMMARU SHIP (6) returned in fine style when scoring decisively over this course and distance first-up. Faces a sterner test now but has the talent to measure right up again. QUATTRO FONTE (10) has been working towards a win and closed well into second here last time. The booking of Takayuki Yano is a plus. BELLWOOD ONE (7) was below his best at Ohi last start but can bounce back.
