Plenty of pace with Copano Lancer and Singapura up front, pressured by Raria and Morango. COPANO LANCER (9) found one better last start at this track over this distance after he was in contention on the bend. Form over this journey is strong, boasting six wins from 11 starts. Maki Mukoyama who has scored on him seven times retains the mount. Should be in the finish. HAKKA CANDY (7) finished eighth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by half a length as public elect after being prominent at the turn over 800m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. RARIA (3) was prominent into the straight last time but couldn't go on with it and finished fifth over 1600m at this track. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. IVY TAILOR (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 18 lengths away in tenth over 1600m at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
