Fast pace assured with Mont Loisir, Firingonallengines and Gravity leading the charge. MONT LOISIR (1) is better than his last start run for fifth of nine as the favourite over 1400m would suggest. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this course and distance. Richard Fourie won aboard him three runs back and is in the saddle today. Jumping from the inside draw can atone. FIRINGONALLENGINES (2) set the pace over 1400m last time before getting outrun late finishing second of 15. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and over a shorter trop here could prove hard to catch. GRAVITY (9) ran on strongly when winning his last start over 1100m on this course. The 2.5kg claiming apprentice Brevan Plaatjies retains the ride and the pair can't be ignored. SUN DAZED (6) looks close to a winning run after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when finishing third of 15 over 1200m at this track. Should be fighting out the finish.
