She won on debut over 1000m on this course two runs back. It is encouraging that Andrew Fortune steps back into the saddle and she may find herself in the winner's enclosure. SPORTS FAN (3) showed good speed when winning her last start over 1000m at Fairview. It must be noted that the second and third placed horses have come out and won since. Rates well as a leading chance. PARALEGAL (2) gets the services of the 2.5kg claiming apprentice Brevan Plaatjies which will assist her cause. She finished a bold fourth of 14 over 1000m at this track two nuns back and jumping from an inside draw has each-way claims. PANJANDRUM (9) is an unraced daughter of Rafeef from the James Crawford stable with Richard Fourie up. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.
