Genuine tempo with Vina Lao Cai to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. VINA LAO CAI (5) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last time out to make it two-for-two this prep. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to cope. KURINO WILLIAM (3) was an impressive winner last time over 900m at Kawasaki, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 3 lengths. Kosuke Sakurai who has four wins when partnering stays on. Bold showing expected. NAVY CINDERELLA (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 800m at this track. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. CAST LIGHT ON (9) showed good early speed over 1000m at Funabashi last time and went on to salute by 0.8 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with three wins from seven starts. Best form too good to ignore.
