Derma Nekodamashi has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. HEROIC BIO (6) was far from disgraced last start when finishing close-up in fifth over this course and distance after working from a wide alley. Much better drawn today and expected to be in the thick of things late. MAKETARA AKAN (5) hit the line strongly when runner-up last time over 1400m at Urawa. That effort suggested he is close to a breakthrough and he looks one of the main hopes in this field. SEINE WARRIOR (3) struggled to get into the race last outing but is capable of sharp improvement from a better setup. Top-three claims are strong. DERMA NEKODAMASHI (4) has been knocking on the door for some time and was not far away in fourth last start. Don't dismiss.
