Looking to emulate his win at Kyoto Dirt when returning from a spell last prep. Looks the one to beat in the small field. SHIN BELIEVE (3) held on well to finish second last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten a neck when fresh from a spell. Looks well placed so expect another forward display. TAGANO MAKASIH YA (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on May 16, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. One of the genuine hopes in the race. QUANTUM WAVE (6) is back from a break of ten weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when 14th over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Should give backers a sight.
