Plenty of pace from Original Pattern, Hamano Hikari and Amour Pisces vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. SANONO SALVADOR (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second over 1500m at Kanazawa. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. HAMANO HIKARI (8) launched her career with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when in contention on the corner before winding up in second over 1500m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. AMOUR PISCES (7) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1200m at Funabashi but could only manage fourth, although only 1.75 lengths from the winner. Has a high cruising speed. One of the main contenders. ORIGINAL PATTERN (4) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1500m at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
