A solid tempo anticipated with Vamanos and Lady Blunt ahead of Cape Saffron and Arashi. CAPE SAFFRON (4) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then landed the prize by 0.7 lengths last time out over 1450m at Turffontein Inside. Goes well here. Got the job done last time and is a leading hope again.
PRINCESS ILARIA (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1450m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Long overdue for a win. Should be right in the finish. VAMANOS (7) is in great form and has a strong record here. Placed only try track and trip. One of the chief contenders. ARASHI (1) has been thereabouts in tougher company last couple. Should go well in this line up.
