Solid tempo set by Tunas and Asian Vision. TUNAS (2) is a promising filly yet to miss the frame after two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since she scored over 1400m at this track on October 29. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Will prove tough to beat. WINE CHAN (11) improved sharply on her seventh two starts back at Monbetsu with a win as favourite over 1400m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. REINA BAROWS (12) raced on the speed and dug deep to score by 0.8 lengths at this track and distance when first-up from a spell last start. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. LE TONNERRE (13) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1.5 lengths over 1500m at Kawasaki. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
