Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Yanagiba Nebagiba a potential leader. YANAGIBA NEBAGIBA (6) was well fancied last start over 1400m at this track when fourth. Tsutsui Yusuke has registered three minor placings when on board. Expecting a bold showing. HELLO NEW ME (5) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth starting at $4.50. Nicely placed to bounce back. BADARZEWSKA (1) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. Will drift back but wind up late again and is one of the contenders. MOKARA RUBY (7) is returning from a spell of six months. Finished tenth at Hakodate over 2000m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Hiroshi Sasano. Should be primed for this.
