Tanana has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. TORSHEEN (6) lightly raced filly who returned in an easier contest with a plugging third over this trip at Mornington. Comes to hand quickly and doesn't have to improve much to take this out. ZOUTANIUM (3) is a talented colt who resumes from a lengthy spell. Came to the end of his prep when a disappointing last to Cool Archie over 1600m in the G1 JJ Atkins at Eagle Farm on June 14. Tongue-tie goes and the two jumpouts looked sharp. Can return a winner. NIGHT FLASH (4) fourth-up today and stretches out to the 1200m for the first time. Put himself in the race in the straight but failed to close off when a seventh over 1000m at Cranbourne. Claim helps and worth another chance today. KING WEST (2) returned from a let-up with the two good runs and anywhere near his best can win this. Produced good splits late when fourth over 1000m at Cranbourne. Pozman's claim keeps him in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,3,4,2.
