Fast pace assured with Wonderstar leading the charge. LOVE TOGETHER (9) gave away a considerable start after being checked over 1000m at this track last time before hitting the line well to finish sixth. He only needs a clear run to be the one to beat this time. Stick with him. ETERNAL FORTUNE (5) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 1000m. He rates highly from a superior gate and will be hard to hold out. HORSEPOWER (2) hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Sha Tin over 1000m a month ago. He has been kept ticking over with a recent trial win at Sha Tin AW. He is overdue for another win. FIERY STEED (11) is an imported four-year-old having his first run in this area for the P F Yiu barn. Scored at his last run over 1108m at Sale nine months ago. Brought on for this with a trial win at Sha Tin AW, so he is not to be underestimated, especially with the advantage of the pole position.
