Plenty of pressure on from the outset with some speedy types engaged in the good-sized field. RAIN BIRD (5) showed good speed when winning her last start over 1200m here on the turf. She won her maiden on this course with ease. Donald Geerthsen knows her extremely well and from her good draw, she should be hard to peg back. FLOWER FESTIVAL (4) just peaked on his run late over 1200m last time out when finishing fourth. She can secure a cosy run from the pole position and should be right in the finish again. MARSHMALLOW (7) fought hard when winning her last start over 1400m on this course. She is in a good space and Marco van Rensburg who retains the ride should give her all the necessary assistance from her wide draw. Stick with her. KILMONIVAIG (1) ran a good race when fourth over 1400m on this course last start. She drops back in class and despite her big weight, she can not be ruled out of winning this.
