Not expecting them to go too hard without a recognised leader engaged. BRUTAL LOVE (3) is back after a six-month spell. Raced three times in the maiden campaign for a couple of placings, the latter two appearances in $200k races. Recent Dubbo trial winner who looks ready to make a positive return in a very thin maiden. SANTOLINI (12) was poor over 1300m at Canberra last time but her efforts prior to that in sharper races was sound. Not much depth to this so it will be no surprise if she ran the quinella. ISCHYROS (4) last appeared when midfield on debut over 1200m at Goulburn back in May. Not far away in a recent trial so from a good gate he has definite top three claims. BROKEN IMAGE (14) was safely held on debut at Wagga a fortnight ago but can improve with blinkers going on. SHE'S HIGH SOCIETY (8) strips fitter and is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brutal Love is at unbackable odds. Take exactas 3-12, 3-4, 3-14.
