Look for a strong early tempo with Iffland setting the tone from an outside draw, joined by Just Riff Raff. HAWKINS (6) settled back of the wide barrier at Sale on debut and did a good job in the circumstances. He will be better for that and Nolen stays aboard. In a top barn and will take beating. CHESAPEAKE BABE (11) did about what expected first-up and she has plenty up her sleeve. McNeil goes aboard today and can settle her closer. BROADHURST (13) got too far back at Ballarat but the first-up effort was good. Has an awkward gate but is an improver to consider.
Ditto MY SCHIELLER WOOD (3) who is third-up and showing some promise. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hawkins appeals.
