Gatton   24 May 2024

GOING: G(4)

Gatton Cup Calcutta - Gatton Jubilee Golf Club Friday 28th June RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1400m

Track: GOOD 4     Rail: Out 0.5m 700m-275m. True Remainder.

Belle's Boy and Tee Amici possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. KOOLATAH (3) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the form prior was good enough to play a role in the outcome of this contest. Has since been given a bit of a freshen-up to drop back to the 1400m and a strong showing is expected. BELLE'S BOY (1) has won over this track and trip and gets 3kg off with the claim. Strips fitter now and looms as a serious contender. The penny has dropped for BORN TO BE ALIVE (2) who has won two of his past three. Another to get some weight relief and rates a top-three contender on recent form. BENEDICT ARNOLD (4) broke the maiden status at the latest outing and will take some confidence from that win. In the mix. ROMAN HEIR (6) rounds out the selections in an open affair. SUGGESTED PLAY: Koolatah to bounce back.
