Genuine tempo from Eliud leading Amazonia. KHALEESI (6) settle back and ran on fairly well fresh up at Ruakaka as the favourite 4 weeks ago, finishing third. She would have taken a lot of benefit from that blow-out, and she will have the services of ex-Australian hoop Kyle Wilson-Taylor who will be looking to establish himself in NZ with some early success. Hard to beat, so follow your money. MISS UNDERSTOOD (8) has made a bright start to her prep winning second up by nearly 2 lengths second up at Otaki nearly a month ago. She drops 3.5kg, and Michael McNab sticks with her, so go again. ELIUD (5) has had his issues being a 9-start 6YO gelding with 2 wins to his credit, and he must be worth preserving with. A recent trial will have him ready to rumble fresh up. Follow the market moves. AMAZONIA (7) has been not too far away since winning at BM65 level in early May. She is worth one more chance in this field. SENSE OF TIMING (4) will be suited dropping back from 1600m to 1400m, and she can bounce straight back into form here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Khaleesi can win this, and Eliud can figure in the top 3 at value.
