Off the low draw Lazhward Lapis has enough speed to lead the way in the absence of a recognised leader. FULL HEART BEAT (9) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1500m at this track. Racing well and everything points towards a big run. PONTENIO (1) is returning from a spell of two-and-a-half years. Finished eighth at Fukushima over 1800m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Enokiya Mitsuru. Should be primed for this. IZUMI AMAZONES (10) scored two back here but was below her best last time when ninth over 1500m at this track. Finds the right race this time and can bounce right back. FILON D'OR (11) is a 26-start maiden but does look to be edging towards a win, the latest effort an encouraging second at this track over 1500m. This isn't as hard so she is all set to build on that latest effort.
