Pace looks to be genuine with Inception and Lugarno matching motors in advance of Viewpoint and Line Of Fire. THE IRON STAR (4) improving gelding who saves his best for the home track. Won over this track and trip two-back, then jumped in class on the heavy (9) surface with a disappointing sixth over 1800m at Randwick in BM78 class. Gets the right tempo today and finds a much easier assignment. Go close. VIEWPOINT (3) desperate for a firmer surface and extra ground. Failed to make an impression on the heavy track when sixth over 1500m at Rosehill in BM72 class. Has the talent to score a well-deserved victory. INCEPTION (9) racing well and no excuses here from the good barrier. Took control early from the outside gate with a gritty second over 1600m at Wyong. Takes control early and has claims on his best figures. LUGARNO (1) in need of the run first-up with a battling sixth over 1350m at Wyong. Proven second-up and stays in the calculations.
