Expecting Gazz to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. DAMPEN (4) made a strong return at Murray Bridge when getting home well to only miss by a long neck. If he's come on from that he will take some beating. GAZZ (3) is a speedy lightly raced gelding returning for the Caboche stable. Just the one hitout in readiness but has upside a lot of others don't. OUTPOST (10) warmed nicely late when resuming here last month. Less effective last time but can bounce back third-up under the light weight of the 3kg claim. The 9YO GRAND HOST (1) doesn't win out of turn but is going as good as he ever has. Crowther knows him well and with even luck he can be fighting out the finish. EXTREMELY ROWDY (6) was only sound first-up when resuming off 455 days. The market expected more from her but she can be forgiven. Fitter and can come right on from that or may need another hitout? SUGGESTED PLAY: Dampen to win. Each-way savers Gazz & Outpost.
