Solid tempo anticipated with Irish Bliss heading them off. PIONEER LASS (2) classy mare who sprints well fresh and looks well in with the 3kg claim. Came to the end of her prep when seventh over 1600m here on March 28. Two recent trials have been sound and will relish the good tempo. FIDDLERS GREEN (3) returns from a layoff of six months and both wins have come over this track and trip. Given the two soft trials and worth plenty of thought with Fitzgerald's 3kg claim. Expected to be strong late. AMERICAN STARLET (6) nice type with the two wins from five starts. Returned good figures up on the pace first up when a tough winner over 1200m at Wyong on November 9. Deserves her chance in this tougher contest. IRISH BLISS (4) gave them a galloping lesson first up when a dominant 1.4 len winner over 1300m at Newcastle on November 2. Clearly come back well and will prove hard to run down again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,3,6,4.
