Summer Star to take charge ahead of Takara Star at a good tempo. SOCIAL STAR (4) went well at Gatton and then raced a short-priced favourite at this track/distance narrowly beaten. Maps for the run of the race and he can go one better. TAKARA STAR (7) placed close-up in the same contest. She has to push over from an awkward barrier but she's a chance if that's managed economically. ELLE MAGIC (10) is back on turf and has more to give third-up. Gets in well with the claim and finally draws an inside barrier. In the mix. MORDECAI (3) resumes and is worth a betting watch. He draws well and has placed this course and distance.
