Genuine tempo with Tea Five leading the way. LA BRIAGE (2) was in a different class last time when a dominant 4 lengths winner over 1400m at this track, adding to her fine recent form. Looks very tough to beat again. TEA FIVE (8) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on August 6 finishing 12th and beaten 8 lengths over 1500m at Kawasaki. Has a superb record here at the journey with three wins and a 100% top-three strike rate. A bold showing is likely. SPARTA LEONIDAS (10) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1500m at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Second-up record is strong. Has a strong record at this course, scoring five times from nine starts. One of the contenders. BIG SHOW TIME (9) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1400m here last time. Well placed and is among the chances.
