Vogue Altair has enough pace to take up the running from his wide draw in a low-pressure affair. VOGUE ALTAIR (10) is yet to break through but has been thereabouts. Placed two back then was fourth over 1500m at this track last time. Sits handy in the run. Capable of sharp improvement and can get off the mark. HELD (8) hasn't featured at his last two runs, the latest when ninth at Tokyo. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here and worth including. WATER STOMP (12) turned in a modest performance when 11th last start over 1500m here after a good first-up win at this track. Big chance on the first-up form. KURINO ECLIPSE (7) drifted back and never threatened when eighth last start over 1500m at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
