LORD SHAMAL (6) turned in an eye-catching run over this journey last time, settling out the back before winding up late to finish 2.75 lengths away in fifth at this track. One to watch for in the closing stages. VICTORIA DANCE (3) finished eighth at this track and distance at her last appearance four-and-a-half months ago. Definite top-three chance. CASTLE ROCK (1) produced another moderate effort last start when 8 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1400m at this track. Better than his recent efforts suggest and he has solid first four claims in this.
