Solid tempo anticipated with Esquel taking charge. SHASFA (7) led them over the 1435m journey last start and was too strong, winning by 1.1L to bring up back-to-back wins. She won the start prior over this track and trip by 1L. This is tougher, but she carries no weight today and if she can get across from out wide, she'll be hard to reel in. ROMMEL'S GODDESS (3) was solid in her first two runs back before a 5.8L defeat last start when favourite over further. Back to 1300m now may hold the key and it's important to note she did jump favourite in this class last time out. Can bounce back to her best. TOPAZ (10) finished third at Derby two runs back but was less effective last time over 1435m at this track, finishing 5.5 lengths back in sixth after being prominent at the bend. Has her share of talent. ESQUEL (6) disappointed last time but was in good touch prior. Can bounce back. STAR POWER (1) won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shasfa looks the one to beat.
