Codename is the probable leader in the small field. SURPRISATIC (1) drifted back and never threatened when sixth last start over 1000m at this track. That was a BM70, though, and drops back to 56 grade here. For that reason, has a lot of weight, but has the class to overcome it. Stablemate CODENAME (2) produced a reasonable effort when fifth last start over 975m at Swan Hill, which followed a deserved maiden win. That was on this track, which warrants even more respect. TORNADO'S SISTER (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1000m at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. POPTHEBUBBLY (3) finished seventh over 1200m at Yarra Valley at her most recent appearance on March 24, which followed a maiden victory at Edenhope. Been off the scene for a while, so will be better for this but has upside. THE LAST JUDGEMENT (6) hasn't won for a while, but rarely runs poorly and comes through better races than this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Surprisatic to win.
