Bella Timing is expected to lead at a keen tempo. LITTLE BIT OF LOVE (1) has been racing well as he usually does on this course through the winter, and he came home with a rush through the field here 2 weeks ago when finishing second. He will have plenty of market support again, and he deserves another winning turn. GOSPODIN (3) has been a long time between drinks, and he may have forgotten how to win. He likes the track and is always a top 4 chance. CAITLYNS WISH (4) has been kept very busy since resuming from a spell, and if she can hold the front from the pole position, then she could well steal this race. BELLA TIMING (6) led all the way to win at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago, and his stable seldom leave this track without picking up some major prize money, so stick with her. DUSTY ROAD (2) has been building up his fitness, and in a small field he is ready to show his best again. KAIMAI QUEEN (5) did nothing in the Opunake Cup last time out, but she can bounce straight back into the money here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gospodin each way.
