Plenty of pace with Billy Bent Ear and Movin' Denman prominent. EDGE OF MIDNIGHT (2) started at $1.80 but never looked a winning chance last start over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Interesting move to bring him back to 1000m. Best figures read well and Bullock takes the ride so trust he is in the right race. MOVIN' DENMAN (7) picked up his fourth runner-up cheque from as many runs this prep when edged out over this distance at Muswellbrook last time out. Finally draws a good gate so this is his big chance to break through. EIGHTY EIGHT STARS (5) last appeared when fourth over 1200m at Moree 23 weeks ago. Handy sprinter who is better over 1200m+ but should be sharp enough while fresh to play a big role. INDIAN THUNDER (8) last appeared in a similar race to this three starts ago when beaten only 2.6 lengths at Tamworth under the same weight. Each-way hope.
