Pace only fair with Farfetched rolling to the lead ahead of Adaptation and Kiss Of Gold. FARFETCHED (8) comes here with a fitness edge fourth up and will find this more to her liking. Gave her all up on the speed with the 60kg for a fighting third over 1200m at Canterbury. Has the speed to get across and brings a superior set of figures to this contest. Ready to win. GAULTIER (3) Exceedance gelding resuming from a lengthy break. Closed strongly on debut when fifth over 1000m at Caulfield Heath 15 months ago. J Mac has ridden him in both trials and gets his chance from the low draw with the lugging bit going on. KISS OF GOLD (9) thereabouts of late and gives the impression she's looking for this trip now. Will appreciate the 3kg claim here after finishing a sound fifth over 1150m at Illawarra Grange. Has genuine each way prospects.
