Anticipating a genuine tempo over the 1000m journey. Competitive little sprint. CAVALRY GIRL (6) is flying this time in and was utterly dominant winning in Adelaide last start, scoring by 4.5 lengths. She drops 4kg off that and should get a nice run tracking a hot speed here, expected to go close again. Like the set up for BAZABALL REWARDED (5) who comes back to her preferred trip of 1000m. She's tried hard in good company her past two but didn't have the cleanest shot at them last time and ran well enough. This is softer. ALONG THE RIVER (7) is a ripper. He tried hard again to 1100m last time but is far better suited back to his pet trip. STOKKE (2) resumes. She's a sharp mare who loves this trip and should go well with Shinn on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cavalry Girl on top.
