Echo Two should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. KAHULUI (2) was beaten by a nose on debut at Te Aroha before finishing a sound fifth here 2 weeks ago. He cops a wide gate, but will appreciate the extra 100m, and in a field with not much depth of form, he is the one to beat for ours. KALGARRY ALLY (10) put is a strong finishing effort for second by a nose here 2 weeks ago over 1200m. She has been progressing nicely, and looks set to pick up her first win at short notice. LITTLE ORCHID (14) is also a promising filly with some upside. She fought on gamely for fourth in the same race as the top 2 picks when looking like the winner at one stage that day. She gets another chance to crack the top 3 in this. DRAGONSTONE (6) battled away gamely for sixth at Te Aroha nearly a fortnight ago, and her form has been near enough. Include in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kahului can get the job done here.
