From the inside gate Lord Power should show enough dash to hold the lead, with pressure from Fallguy. STATESWOMAN (7) peaks off three placed efforts and deserves another chance. She settled too far back here 7 days ago and it wouldn't surprise to see Butler push forward today. The longer sprint suits. LORD POWER (4) is a leader and is also busting to win. Gets weight relief today and the inside barrier and should go close. CULLIVEL (6) resumed at Atherton and needed the outing. She needs a good ride but has pieces of form that would see her in the finish and she presents fitter. IT'S BEEN A TREK (9) didn't finish it off at Cairns, but he missed a nose here prior and that stacks right up. On that effort he's worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Stateswoman.
