Divas Reign and Upturn to take up the running at a genuine tempo. Distance increased from 1025m to 1125m due to track conditions. PIEDI VELOCI (5) missed the kick when resuming at Inverell last start but he got through his gears late and finished midfield. Back in trip today but if he gets a clean getaway from the nice draw he looks very tough to beat. Twenty-six start veteran SASKATOON BERRY (11) found the line well when resuming in the same race as Piedi Veloci at Inverell seventeen days ago. Draws a much better gate this time and will improve with the run under the belt so don't rule her out. UPTURN (6) was just fair when resuming at Toowoomba recently. Yet to fire in five career runs but in this field he is a sound each-way hope. DIVAS REIGN (8) is back from a four-month spell. Better over more ground but while fresh she should give a good account. Matthew Dunn's first starter HERALD ANGEL (9) has trialled five times dating back to July 2024. Respect any positive market activity. SUGGESTED PLAY: Piedi Veloci can get away with this.
