Steps up to this distance for the first time which is a query, but trust Matthew Dunn has found the right race for this honest gelding. Veteran NATURE BOY (2) made it three wins from his last four outings when he led and dominated over 2300m at Muswellbrook last start. This is not harder so despite a spike in the weights he can win again. MAUI (7) disappointed in the run home last time out over 2150m at Gunnedah. Form prior to that was sound, including a second to Nature Boy here at this trip. Each-way chance. MINDSPACE (3) steps back up in distance today and the blinkers have been removed.
