GRACE CHOCOLAT (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 8 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to get the prize. MERMAID (9) failed to run a strong 1400m last start after a close second over 1200m at Morioka Dirt the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so deserves another chance. NANYO WING (5) was beaten 8 lengths into fifth over 1400m at Morioka Dirt last time out. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
