Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Ppallippalli Rise. NOBLE OAK (9) was well in commission last start over 1400m at Morioka Dirt when third, beaten 6 lengths. Has a wide gate to overcome but he can figure in the finish. PPALLIPPALLI RISE (5) showed good pace and went on to score by 4 lengths last time out over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. MY BOY (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when sixth in a 1400m contest at Morioka Dirt two weeks ago. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. RYUNO DRAGON (2) scored two back at Morioka Dirt but was below his best last time when seventh over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Deserves another chance.
