Arde Shinzan and Life Is Art to take up the running at a strong tempo. CHIKA VALIENTE (7) turned in an eye-catching run last time out over 1200m at Hakodate, charging home from well back to finish a nose away in second. Hasn't been far away at all three starts. Sure to go very well. ARDE SHINZAN (3) debuted four weeks ago when he finished ninth over 1800m at Hakodate, beaten 12 lengths. Capable of sharp improvement. REAL JAPAN (4) progressed nicely last start when he made late ground to finish a close third over 1200m at Hakodate after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CHOPIN CONCOURS (2) has raced twice. Was second on debut then clocked-in 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth last time out over 1200m at Hakodate. Should be thereabouts again.
