Finado is the probable leader in the small field. FINADO (5) won well first-up but has been a little disappointing since, beaten 4.7L last start over 1100m. This looks a suitable event this time around, drawing much better where he'll be able to take closer order. Back to 1000m won't be an issue and off a freshen, he looks poised to strike. MAJESTUOSO PHOENIX (1) led them up over 1100m last time out but couldn't hold on, missing by 1.5L. His form prior was superb, narrowly beaten by a smart one over this track and trip two starts ago. Likely to play a leading role if he runs to form. WORKING CLASS GIRL (6) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish third over 1200m at Port Hedland. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. GINGERIFFIC (7) can improve coming back in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Finado goes on top.
