Genuine tempo with Orson Stone and Rocky Marciano up front. ORSON STONE (1) dug deep when finishing fourth as the favourite at Waverley 19 days ago, and he will have Craig Grylls in the saddle this time. He too will be suited by the step up in trip, and he only needs the right run to pick up his first win at short notice. ACER (9) was fourth here last time out, and she has carried plenty of market support in each of her 3 starts this season. Follow your money here. Can win. ROCKY MARCIANO (11) had an excuse in his penultimate start, and then needed his last run at Ellerslie just over 4 weeks ago. He is better than that, and is well worth each-way consideration in this field. LOS SALSERO (3) ran a bottler for sixth on debut, and then was good when fifth last start. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rocky Marciano each-way value.
