Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Popola Vista. BLACKISH (8) has not been sighted since he finished third over 1800m at Tokyo on April 26. Lightly raced colt who has far more upside than his rivals. Perfectly placed to score. MEINER LIHIM (3) returned last time with a solid second at Fukushima over 2000m. Back in far better shape this preparation and looks the main threat to the top pick. POPOLA VISTA (16) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 1800m at Fukushima, making it two minor placings in a row. Expected to cross from wide out and should give plenty of cheek. AUBE REINE (14) is a three-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Fukushima. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
