Pace only fair with Va Savoir rolling to the lead ahead of Abagnale and Escarcha. VA SAVOIR (12) went forward last start and gave a great sight when second over 1600m at this track. Should be prominent despite the wide draw. Reunites with Yuri Takahashi who has never missed the frame from five rides, including two wins. Well placed and should be in the finish. BUSTER SHOT (2) has switched yards since finishing ninth three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1500m at Kawasaki. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. FRIEND SILVER (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Morioka Dirt but ran below par last time when eighth over 1600m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. ABAGNALE (7) drew wide last time and was safely held when fifth over this track and trip. Great chance to bounce back.
