Genuine pace headed by Ka Ying Glory from his wide draw. THOUSAND SPIRIT (2) rolled forward at this track and trip last start and stuck on well, ending up 1.5L off the winner. It's been a while since he won, but he showed last start he's knocking on the door and he drops a kilo on that effort. Finds a winnable race today though and can end his winning drought. RISING PHOENIX (10) has struggled to get into races recently when ending up a long way back from wide draws. He draws much better this time around and gets Purton back in the saddle today. Looks an improver today. ENDUED (1) comes here fresh and gets Craig Williams in the saddle. His latest trial was solid and the visors come off for today's return. He's a winner here previously and he can make his presence felt first-up. RED BRICK WARRIOR (4) is on debut today and looks to have found a suitable C4 to begin his career.
