Reasonable tempo with Odoranya Sonson probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. ODORANYA SONSON (6) finished fourth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 3 lengths as favourite after being in the firing line on the turn over 1400m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. IL CUORE (3) finished second at this track and distance at his last appearance ten weeks ago. Comes here with definite claims. T O RENOIR (10) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1400m at this track. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. SAISEISEI (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on November 30 when beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth at this track over 1300m after being in the firing line on the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
