Strong tempo with Sammaru Empire driving forward, while Best Regard and Solar Ray pressure. SAMMARU EMPIRE (10) built on a nice third two starts back here with a win over 1700m at this track four weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to figure in the finish. BEST REGARD (3) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 920m at this track, beaten half a length. Nicely placed to find winning form. A SHIN ENBARR (7) went down by just a neck when second at this track over 1500m last time out. Could take plenty of beating. SOLAR RAY (1) has not appeared since he finished fifth over 1700m at this track on June 26. Among the better hopes fresh.
